My name is Madison, and I am a third year vet student who gets to share my life with two amazing border collies, Truth and Dare. Originally intended to be my agility and herding partners, they decided life would be more interesting if they became frequent flyers at the vet. I'm fortunate to have pet insurance and be able to access amazing care for their health issues, however I am a full time student barely keeping up with their growing vet bills between the copays and deductibles (plus uncovered expenses). I put together this shop with various designs of my silly boys to help cover some of these expenses. 

Dare is an 8yr male tricolor border collie. Ever since 8 weeks old something was always off about him behaviorally. Over the years, many workups have been done for suspected pain and GI concerns. The past 1.5-2yrs these issues have worsened exponentially. He has been seen by numerous specialists such as behaviorists, neurologists, dentists, rehab experts, and radiologists. After this witch hunt for an answer, we finally have a suspected diagnosis of tethered cord. He is currently scheduled for de-tethering surgery in December of 2026. 

Truth is a 4yr male tricolor border collie (matchy matchy in this household). Truth was a dream of a puppy after raising Dare. However, around 7-8 months it became clear something was off physically. Truth was diagnosed with hip dysplasia which dramatically effects his behavior and gait patterns. At one point he was a suspected TCS candidate as well, but after a MRI study we believe his hips are the primary cause of his health concerns. 

In just the span of Mid August to Early September they totaled over $12k+ in bills from just three vet visits. And we still have many vet visits to go before Dare's major surgery (~$8-12k) and to support Truth until he can get a total hip replacement.
